Cannot Find Machine During Wired LAN Setup: Check 1
Is LAN cable connected, and are machine and router on?
Make sure LAN cable is connected.
Make sure machine is turned on.
Confirming that the Power Is On
Make sure router is turned on.
If LAN cable is connected and machine or network device is off:
Turn on machine or network device.
It may take a while for the machine and network device to become ready for use once they are turned on. Wait a while after turning on the machine or network device, and then click Redetect on the Check Printer Settings screen to redetect the machine.
If the machine is found, follow the instructions on the screen to continue to set up network communication.
If LAN cable is connected and machine and network device are on:
If the machine cannot not be found after trying to redetect it, even though the machine and the network device are on, go to Check 2.
